This isn’t any of mine, but a friends dog.
A pet, well exercised. She’s 10. On librella. Has had a full MOT to check bloods and everything.
She has always liked the man of the house best and would choose to spend time with him when he’s at home. But over the last couple of months she’s got incredibly clingy. She has to be touching him, stares at him all the time and worries if he shuts her out if the room (loo for example!).
What might be causing this, do you think?

Have her eyes and ears been checked? If she's feeling vulnerable, it makes sense that she'd gravitate to the person she's always liked best. Could also be the beginnings of CCD.
One of the family is a vet nurse so I’m sure she’s been tested for everything, but I will ask.
CCD is a worry.

Both things I immediately thought about have already been mentioned. I thought that if she's already been thoroughly checked up at the vets, maybe it's something with him. But it doesn't have to be something like cancer, without it could just as well be something like Diabetes, or a depression.
If there's nothing wrong with him, I presume that despite recent vet checks, there's still something healthwise going on with the dog.

Spoke to him and he has a full MOT annually and had this years a month ago. All clear. But it’s made him aware anyway.
They all went on holiday a month ago and she was kennelled for a fortnight. It’s the same place she normally goes but she hasn’t been for so long before, I wonder if as she ages she gets less resilient to change. I know I do!
