Change of bit from KK snaffle...

My mare is getting a bit set against her KK snaffle which ive been using for a while so thought maybe I should try something different for a while??? What would you suggest?

When you say set against do you mean leaning or getting strong?

A Myler comfort snaffle. Mine went from a kk to a myler 3 yrs ago and I have never thought of changing since.

I put mine in a Myler but when started resisting I went to a NS verbidand (sp)

I've gone to one of the NS ones - not sure if it's a Verbidend or the Team Up as borrowed off friend - mine goes much better in it

My horse has had this exact same problem. List 1 dresage instr visited last week, told me to take that out as he is really leaning on the large thick bars of the KK sprenger bit. She said to put him in a normal steel dressage bradoon (a thin one). This we have done and we have noticed a great difference.....

I would try a Myler Comfort Snaffle (love mine) or a Waterford loose ring snaffle.

Am awaiting delivery on the Sprenger Dynamic RS. Like the verbindend crossed with the KK Ultra Eggbutt. The mouthpiece is only 14mm so skinnier than the KK's and the anatomical mouthpiece makes them more comfortable.
