Change of feed - how long before i notice a difference?

I've changed my mares feed and wondered how long before i see any change?

I always thought about 2 weeks plus but unsure, so just wanted to clarify it.

i think it would probably depend on why you changed her diet, and what the changes you were looking for in her.

My mares lami prone and been footy lately so changed her diet to high fibre, no starch and replaced with flaxseed oil as her energy source. Shes been on it for just over 2 weeks and i was expecting to see her coat looking glossier.

where coat/skin condition is concerened it can sometimes take several weeks to see an improvement.
