Is anyone familiar with the issuing body Zuchtverband Fur Deutsche Pferde E.V?

There are no instructions as to how to register a change of ownership. Haven't a clue where to send it, fees etc. Can anyone help?

Thanks

I have just changed my Dutch Warmblood (well Heinz 57 type!) with the British Equestrian Federation. £20 for change of ownership, and return by Special Delivery.

Returning to the stud book in Holland would have cost me around £75...

To change ownership on a German horse you need to send in the passport and the certificate of ownership which proves that you are rightfully the owner.

If you decide to send a German passport pay extra for courier,Royal Mail have no tracking outside the UK.
Last week a lady lost an Oldenburg passport by Royal Mail and it will cost £250 approx to get a duplicate.
