it was for me, i soon changed back!
but superstition is only as powerful as your belief in it, a bit like the placebo effect perhaps!
if you really want to change, go for it, and convince yourself that your saddle, breeches, or something else you're keeping the same is really the thing that holds all the luck!

Haha i guess you are right i could always keep the same colours and change the design! I have just a plain blue shirt with a white stripe at the moment but fancy the one with the stars.

Never heard that one before!

I always used to wear purple/black but at Mattingley earlier this year I couldn't find my top so grabbed a bright blue one I use for running and did a fabulous clear so I always use this one and *touch wood* have gone clear wearing it every time since

Well I have changed from Navy and Red to Navy and Pale Blue to Burgundy to Burgundy and Grey to Pale Blue to White and Black to Bright Pink. Mainly because I grew out of them - I'm only 16!

I've never performed stunningly in any but I like the pink ones best

Although perhaps they could be blamed for my bad performance in the collecting ring!

I always have a spare set of a different colour or a plain top to go with my hat silk just in case I fall off in the water on my first ride

I am considering changing mine too but have heard its bad luck, like changing a horses name...was navy and white but feel like something different. Plus my current XC top has shrunk so much it half three quarter length sleeves!!! not a good look.
