Hello.Please could someone tell me the percentage of colour a horse would have to be to be eligable to chaps registration.
My new girl has grey and black on her passport instead of coloured (not a chaps passport because not coloured enough).Photo's in PG if you would like to see her.Thankies.

Coloured Horse and Pony Society.

Patches is CHAPS registered and I'd say she looks less coloured than your new mare. However, her "blue" patches (when visible) are more widespread than your horse's, they've just faded as she's aged, and her face is more solidly coloured with a huge blaze in summer.

Patches is classed as a blue tobiano.
