I had an e-mail from George's "new" owner today (new being in inverted commas cos he has owned him for two years now!) saying (amongst other things) that he has qualified for the CHAPS championships with him

Bless you George you always were the sweetest horse, such a shame you wouldnt consider SJing though

Thank you Henmeister, even if I did have to ask by PM so you would reply to this

I just think he looks really cool, the pic is better bigger but didnt want to show his owner without permission!

SJing was hilarious on him, he knew perfectly well he didnt have to make an effort - so he didnt! He was awesome XC for his size (3'6' no problem!) but wouldnt SJ round an Intro track without getting the good old CR

His passport didnt say

He was imported from Ireland, and was "believed" to have Young Edmund in his breeding - not wholly convinced about that one however

Ah yes, the 'How would you like it bred?' line!

Doesn't really matter, just interested. He really is a lovely looking lad.

My thoughts exactly LOL

He was brought over to England just for hunting, I bought him as a pootle around at PN eventer, but as you can see above, it didnt work out

His current owner loves him to bits though, he shows, dressages, hacks and hunts, so it all turned out wonderfully

Not sure about the HOYS thing but the owners are coming back to our yard quite soon to look at horses for their daughter, so I am hoping to catch up with them then and will ask them what their plans are
