Typo in title! Changing ownership not charging!
Hello all.
I have a 5yr old that came over from Ireland last year. He came over on a transport load to a reputable dealer in the uk who sales them on on behalf of the stud in Ireland. His passport was matched to him via his microchip. Now my query is, I want to change the ownership in the passport from his breeders to my name but his passport is registered to he Irish cob society.... In Ireland. And in order to change ownership you need the signature of the previous owner who I have absolutely no contact information for at all. Now I can't be the first person in this situation to not have any contact with the previous owner so there must be a way to change the ownership without the previous owners signature. I emailed the passport company in Ireland and heard absolutely nothing back so I'm not particularly happy about sending it to ireland.
My next problem is, next year he will be affiliated to the BSPS and BSHA, will not having a stamp from the society approving my ownership cause a problem with affilaiating?
