Charity ride in Notts

We are holding a 15 mile ride on the 16th July starting from Collingham, Nottinghamshire to raise money for a special lady who passed away from cancer at a young age leaving young children. All proceeds will go to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Please help in anyway you can - you can simply make a donation however small or come and join us for the ride. BBQ afterwards. If joining the ride, the theme is red.

Could you give a few more details as to where to meet & if there will be a shorter route available? That sounds an excellent way of raising money in memory of the lady. I'm from Lincs, just across the border & Collingham isn't far.

I am only a few miles from Collingham too.
 
The meet will be at my yard - some people are arriving Friday night to make a weekend out of it. The ride will start at 1pm from Orchard Stables, Cottage Lane, Collingham, NG23 7QL and yes, there is a shorter route for people. We are hoping to have a photographer from a local paper and to visit some residential areas to collect a few more pennies. We are holding a BBQ and possibly a cake sale afterwards. The more people that can make the ride the better xx
 
Do we collect sponsors or pay a cap to join in? If so please can u tell us how much? We're lincs too. Access to transport for up to 4 so if nothing major competition wise going on i'll try to organise the yard there's not many of us but we'll join in!
 
hello, it is free to come and join in and either you can make an online donation or I can send you out sponsership forms. I am ordering t-shirts so if anyone wants one let me know & also the BBQ is free but will also be doing a cake sale at 10p a cake slice xx It is a charity ride but also about meeting new people xx
 
Sounds fab, we're just checking events diary as a couple of the girls BE and BS but fingers crossed we will all be there, I may have to make 2 trips in the lorry though, is there anywhere to deposit a couple of ponies while I go back for a couple more? We are limited transport wise at the minute.

Once I know how many of us are coming I'll contact you for t shirts and sponsorship forms. We should raise more that way than we can afford to donate on our own as some of the girls are still at school/college.
