Hey

Looking to do a charity ride soon - although will need to make sure a big radox bath is waiting for me at the end of it!

The lady I ride for mentioned some at bevoir castle - anyone know of these or any in nottingham/leicestershire?

You just missed one round Stapleford Estate this weekend!

They do a couple round Belvoir every year but don't know there are any planned at the moment as it hunter trials time.

RIDE DATE: The Greatest PINK RIDERS DAY OUT - CHARITY EVENT IS NOW ON 20/09/2009

CLOSING DATE: 14/09/2009 by post email entries up until the Friday, pleasure riders allowed on day too but please call to confirm.

LOCATION: Mattersey, DN10 5HE about 6 miles from A1 jct at Blyth (only 10 miles from Thorseby ride venue!!).

CLASSES: 7 m, 13 m and 20 mile with lovely 1 mile circuit canter stretch. NOTE all competitive classes have been cancelled

FACILITIES: No water, grass field with some parking on verge if your lorry is large etc, There will be catering provided by Royal Oak country Kitchen, everything from burgers to sarnie's, jacket spuds and drinks, veggies too. Photographer and local newspaper coverage.

VENUE: Large grass field close to the start of the ride, dogs welcome as long as well behaved etc, Lots of places to adjust your PINK riding gear!

RIDE DETAILS: village venue linking Mattersey,Everton & Harwell some road work but good riding on grass, lanes, woods and roads. See riders write ups on the South East forum. permission to ride on farm land granted by R.Troop, W Smith, J.Brown, many thanks to them all.

This is going to be a charity ride in aid of Breast Cancer and Lincolnshire Air Ambulance, with raffle prizes, prize for pinkest horse and rider and prize for rider who raises the most sponsor money....

£2 fee to add on top of your normal entry, this allows you a strip of raffle tickets along with entry to the pinkest riding combo challenge, some riders have asked to pay double NOT to wear pink!! this is always an option ..... (£4, Helen?) xx
