My friend and i do alot of work for the RDA etc, we like to do a fair bit of charity work. Weve got our hands on a portacabin that a friend was getting rid of and we were thinking of getting some cheap horse things so we can start a wee shop. Proceeds to be going to several horse charities.

Does anyone know where we could get things like wormers, clothing etc. Also recommend any small horse charities that maybe dont get recognised

Oh right, thanks for that. My friend said she had a licence to sell wormers but will look into that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention

you cannot sell wormers unless your business is registered with the royal pharmacuetical (sp) society of great britain, and those persons selling them with need to pass an examination with AMTRA to become an SQP - suitably qualified person - also the building must be a permanent one.
tack and clothing on the other hand will be fine! it can be difficult starting up a business and you will have to put huge margins on anything you sell to stay in business and donate to charity, wholesalers will expect pro-forma payments i.e payment upfront at first so you initial layout will be huge! why not operate as a charity shop?? sell on good quality donations, you and the charity will make more this way!
