Charles Owen skull caps - differences

Somebody recommended CO skull caps to me, and I saw there are quite a number. Are the differences simply in quality, or are there other issues, too?

In other words, are there reasons I shouldn't take the cheapest?

Best go try them on really, as I found a huge difference in fit within the range. I had a J3 and loved it, and was hoping to buy a pro 2, but tried it on and hated it! All depends on your discipline, what fits and how deep your pocket is, as to what hat to go for!

Also what and where the air vents are positioned.

Not helpful but I love the j3 too I found the pro II a bit 'loose' I prefer the snugness of the j3 so replaced like for like when I broke my old one :/

yes i felt rather exposed in the pro - it was just kind of 'perched' on top of my head!! Ive just bought a Gatehouse HS1 which is lovely
