Are they normal sizes? Was looking at the J3 but the young rider ones are cheaper...but just wondering if they are kids sizes?

No they will be the same, only difference it the quality of the velvet on the hats & they don't sit so deep @ the back of your neck, & les VAT!

I've got one and it's a size 7 and I find it really comfy and it meets the current BS and PAS standards.
