ok, ive never had a good dooer before:o this was charlie on 11th august:o (id only had him about 6 weeks)

and since he has been in a restricted grazing area, about the size of an arena, and is on lowcal balancer and safe&sound chaff. he has been out competing xc and todays pleasure ride was nothing to him:D

there really is very little left in that section now but the rest of my field is sooo lush! im wondering i should think about giving him more grass now as we are coming into winter.. or if i should keep going the way i have been. hmmmm
 
He looks super! Well done you!
I'd keep him in the paddock he's in now and play it by ear rather than put a certain time on it, if he starts dropping weight, then move him sooner.
 
He looks great! big improvement!

I personally would keep him in the fatty paddock for a while yet. As you pointed out the grass is quite lush at the moment and it's still growing... I'd probably wait until november time at the earliest unless you can gradually extend his fatty paddock so that he gets a little new grass each week as the temperature drops?
