So after all the saddle issues with a certain saddle company (i'll give you a hint, they use flair, and has the initials SC
) My horse was just about ready to commit suicide, and had decided that no jumping saddle was coming near him ever again. We took him to David Baxter at Throstlenest and got a Albion K2 jump saddle. After a couple of weeks of hacking in it to get Murphy used to the fact it is not going to hurt him, I jumped him today. He felt the best he has ever felt, he actually basculed over the fences, rather than cat leaping, stayed straight, and gave every fence about a foot. And more to the point he was relaxed and BREATHING, which before he never did (ok well he must have done or he would have suffocated, but he was beathing regularly, rater then panicky, if you get what I mean!) I am soooooooooo pleased. Just thought I would share that with you, just goes to show what differance a saddle can make
