Charlotte to ride Uthopia at Addington!

According to Charlottes Twitter feed she will be riding Uthopia in the GP at Addington. Addington have posted below that there is no admission charge for this - wish I could go, but maybe someone who does will video it & post on YouTube? (Hint hint:D )
 
Carl is allowed to compete him just not outside of the UK due to a court injunction. I suspect as he is no longer able to ride him in world cup competitions and similar he is giving Charlotte the opportunity to compete him so she can have the experience of competing a different horse at GP which if she does well will not hurt her profile as so far being basically mainly successful on just one horse some will question how much is horse how much is rider so she can dismiss those critics
 
Well he's supposed to be for sale. Just depends what rumours you listen to/hear. I've heard......he has failed the vet, Glock has bought him for Carl to ride, etc. I personally think some people are put off after they have seen what has happened to Matthias Rath with Totilas, there's a lot of negetive vibes against him and he's had to deal with a lot since gaining the ride.

I think we'll just have to wait and see :)
 
Because of the lack of clarity re ownership ie if Sasha Stewart owns him or not there is a court order in place preventing Uti's sale and also removal from the uk for any reason including competition. This is all happening as basically Sasha was declared bankrupt a year or so ago and Uti's wasn't declared as an asset at that time. If he had he would have been sold then to liquidisers her assets to repay her creditors. But at that time Carl was listed as owner yet before her bankruptcy and since Sasha has been listed as owner although its claimed a secret third party actually owns him now but they wished to stay anon so Sasha was listed instead. Confused yet?! ;) . Hence until its all sorted out creditors of Sasha got a court order to stop him being sold and them potentially losing their £!
 
Thanks sc for the explanation, sort of understand now although that is very confusing and cant be a nice position for carl to be in not knowing whether the horse is coming or going. As million dolla said guess will just have to wait and see
 
She's riding very late. I'm going to watch as only 10 mins away. Start times are up on the Addington website. I think she's at 9.50pm (might be 8.50pm) can't remember off hand. I'll video it if I can :)

Sorry did you write this to antagonise?

calling someone an ignoramous is uncalled for. You could have easily written your response to put your point across without the name calling.

Well it did kind of come across that you were querying whether or not I'd got things mixed up........which would have been a rather stupid mistake to have made, so I did feel the rolling eye smilie WAS appropriate. However if its use has caused you any offence please be assured that was not my intention.

Now back to my original request - can someone who is going PLEASE film it & put the recording up on Youtube - I'd so love to see it, but going to Addington is out of the question for me :)
 
Undertheweather - in that case he'll have to take me home with him ;)

Got video camera on charge to video Carl, Charlotte and Steph. Any other requests ? Hope the snow doesn't ruin things.

Not going to comment on your lorry licking habits.........but YAY!!! for the video camera.

(If you get get stuck to the window of Carls lorry, please make sure someone has the camera .............and here's an appropriate smiley........:p )

My sister texted me this and she put Uti in capitals to make me notice the change of horse. She wasn't calling me names, just being informative!

Without wishing to derail an interesting thread......re-read my comment - it says, I am NOT calling you an ignoramous etc etc.
