Hi, this is an appeal from the heart for help for my terminally ill little girl...........see news 23rd March,

Charlotte is 11, and suffers from the disease of cystic fibrosis, her prognosis is not good, and she has been given a life expectency of only about another six to eight months,,,,,,,her main love in life is to show her beloved horses, when we found out her prognosis last year, it prompted us to ask her her greatest wish, which was a PINK WAGGON so she could continue to show before she couldnt do it any more....this was an especially difficult task for us, as her dad, my husband Dave, suffered from a brain heamorrage, in the year 2000, which left him severly disabled and unable to work, however, we managed with the help of local press, and tv, to raise enough money to buy and refurb an old waggon, so she could show ........and continue her very strict treatment regieme, (she often comes out of the ring and requires oxygen, she also shows frequently while on anti biotics, delivered intravenusly via a port in her chest).

as i am sure you will appreciate, this has been a huge task, and now we have the job of keeping her living her dream for as long as she is able to do it.

we are appealing for help in this, please help us to help our little girl.....if you need to know anymore about Charlotte's condition, or the help we need you can contact me on 07931830572, or via email on crazyhorsewoman@hotmail.co.uk
donations payable to Charlotte's Wish can be sent to 2 redwood, Esh Winning Durham DH7 9AG

Hiya good luck with your appeal my husband has CF he is 27. Is your daughter on the transplant list? as you will know CF sufferes are very very determind people so i hope she gets everything she has wished for.

Hi- I don't wish to be hurtful, but I see you've had a lot of viewings for this post & only one reply; and as I don't think we're all uncaring, I wonder whether its because, like me, people on here are a bit unsure whether this is genuine or not, yet its too sensitive a subject for us to question.

Do you have any link to the newspaper articles or previous fundraising events that would convince people? I think you'd get a lot of response if we could put a face to the name, so to speak.

hi, check out the horse and hound website news section on 23rd march,........or just google her, there are articles in several equestrian mags, and on tyne tees news re our origional appeal........

hi sorry pressed the wrong buttons.......Charlotte is not a suitable candidate for a transplant, for a number of reasons, we have looked at all the options, she has a determination which is second to none, and she lives for her ponies. check out your horse mag out on the 26th of this month, she is one of the finalists in the inspiration awards section, or you can check out my profile on all4horses.tv i am sure any of the members on that site will verify who we are and all about charlotte.......

thanks for replying to me, i will look for links and post them when i find them, but as i am better at all thinks equine than electronic, then i will only say i will try my best.......lol..

I can personally vouch for Heather aka crazyhorsewoman, she has tirelessly campaigned for Charlotte, basically anything horsey & pink!!! Charlotte won't give up the ponies and when jumping Hilly was too much she moved on to Mini's. They have a pink lorry - no I'm not joking!!

Its just such a shame in this day and age that we are so sceptical and don't trust someones genuine plea for help. This little girl, her Sister, Mum and Dad all need a little help - I've already sent some pink horsey things up to them, although Heather, is there anything special (or not even special) that you need for Charlotte?

Hi
I am Charlotte's Auntie and can also verify the appeal is genuine.
Although not a "horsey" person myself,(my passion is Cavaliers) Charlotte definitely is! The family's lounge walls are festooned with rosettes as is Charlottes horsebox, and she has trophies everywhere.
She is a very determined girl and always has been, and although she has been through some awful things with her illness, I, personally, have never heard her complain about what she has to endure each day just to continue living. Charlotte lives for her ponies and all things pink!
Rest assured this is not a hoax. She has been featured on ITV Tyne Tees and many magazine articles have been written about her.
