Dressage was not good he was a monkey and refused to canter on the correct lead again but got it in the end. When warming up I tested him quite a few times on this lead and he was great go in the arena and he is a git. I was really pissed off with my test as I know he can do a lot better. But hooray for good judging because other bits he did do nicely and I was not penalised for his mistakes early on and got a 39 which I could not believe.

Sj I was feeling really nervous and a bit rushed - I felt like a pleb riding and rode like one. The SJ felt really tight and twisty. It was different to yesterdays and really tested my horse. I had 12 faults which was better than I could have hoped for as I rode like a idiot and he was not making my life easy.

XC had calmed down by this point. Walked the course decided on my routes but he was brilliant had a sticky moment at the bounce because he wanted to trot so he could look at the mushrooms, another sticky moment at the water where we trotted - water is not Yaks friend. He then ballsed up the step coming out but kept going. At the corner was all set up to take the straight route but he kept wavering off his line as we had just galloped across an open field and he was not locking on so opted at the last moment to take the alternative for a big horse he can turn when he needs to so really did not waste any time. All the big stuff he popped brilliantly and came home with just 10 time faults.

So big pats for the pony for being so clever. Next week Bath & West PN

as they would not let me withdraw and have all my money back and then Broadway novice to finish on.

Managed to meet up with Diesel Dog, Jiffy, Bossanova and Shaab. Saw AimeeC Sj and heard her come home xc.

I've been trying for an hour to get on this post = hurry up with the new forum!

I had a lovely day, even if LEC banned me from buying some beautiful baby pink bandages.

Well done I'm really pleased he went so well. Dressage must be coming on as well as that is a good score with a few mistakes. Great pictures as well both looking happy and confident.

QR as the forum is shocking tonight!! It was lovely to meet you all (some of you again!). Rodney is lovely and doesn't resemble a yak at all, I'm now part of the yak fanclub.
