Just wondering, for those of you who feed chaste berries to horses, I've seen that people grind them up. If you were to buy Dodson and horrell chaste berries which look like little black pellets, would you still grind them up or feed them as they are?

Thank you, I've basically got the dry berries used to make the tincture. I'm hoping to get a definitive answer regarding whether she has cushings or not today or tomorrow but even if she hasnt she has something sending her cortisol levels loopy! Need to get them down so thought I'd try this.

I crush mine. When poo picking i have come across a few with undigested ones in it so now i use a coffee bean grinder.

Yeah that's what I was thinking... Value for money and all that! Do you still feed as per instructions or do you feed less as crushed?

I feed her 30g a day of crushed berries. Shes on it as last year she was a complete cow when she was in season!
I started grinding them because i thought if she is is passing them undigested its pointless feeding them!
