Chatterhappy Ponies

Well you have to check the content is...erm....suitable. That's it. It might all be sex and violence now, you have to do the responsible thing. *nods sagely*

:tongue3:

Exactly. Don't want to be a bad influence on her.......although I think my Bro would rather she watched unsuitable stuff than carried on with her horse obsession and ended up like Aunty Elle......:biggrin3: :wink3:

I don't have to watch the chatterhappy ponies.... I've seen them in real!!! lol (and tried to catch the naughty ******* too!!)

Any excuse to have a sit down me... Enjoy

Apologies for 'starred' language!

I loved this show when I was a kid Strop was my favourite! I you tubed it the other day and there is one episode on there.
Also loved the silver Brumby theme tune

The ponies are Wellington Riding's famous! I studied there some years ago, and had the honour of looking after the ponies. Strop was a grumpy so and so, Daisy was brilliant with the kids, Trigger (was a girl) was pretty quick for the small kiddies to keep bouncing to and Sparky was very popular.

I went on a riding holiday at Wellington 2 years ago! I didn't know it was set there as it's so different now! (Nearly 20 years later, how DARE things change!) Were those the ponies real names?

One of the instructors David who started working there at around Chatterhappy times I am guessing said back in the day they used to go galloping through the woods with 10 or so kiddies bobbling about on ponies behind and that the parents would be impressed if their little dears DIDN'T fall off! H&S ruins everything!

David is a star! And yep, ponies real names. (as far as i knew!) 'Elf and safety has ruined much fun. I'm glad I grew up when I did!!

Me too. I think the 90's was the last 'pony book living' generation :biggrin3: *wonders off remembering galloping ponies bareback to the fields in a headcollar a mile away with at least one pony towed by a rope either side...*
