Does any one know which model will take up to 17.2hh horses?
Some of the 2003XL are advertised as taking 17.2hh, but they only actually take up to 16.2hh!!

The 2003XL has 226cm headroom, the Ifor Williams HB510 has 230cm and is designed for 17.2hh. The IW HB505 has 217cm and designed for 16.2hh. So the larger CL 2003XL is between these two.

We have the CL 2002XL and comfortably carry 15.2hh and 16.2hh but definately could not carry 17.2hh as too short and too low.. Having said that the 2003XL has more head room as the roof is not sloped at the front.. It seems strange that their whole range is the same height!

I have a 2003xl and have had a 16.2 in there and there is loads of room, if you want me measure any bits of it i can. I love my trailer had an ifor before but find my CL towes much better and my horse travels much better.
