Cheap bedding solutions for a destructive puppy!

To cut a very long story short the MILs dog is currently being rehomed by the MIL but is with us for a month over Christmas. The dog is fab in many respects but has an awful habit of destroying her bed! If she was going to be with us long term I'd buy her a Tuffie or similar but as she's only with us for a few weeks and has already destroyed two beds I'm looking for cheap options that shes less likely to destroy! Current thinking is a plastic bed filled with blankets or similar....thoughts?

I've found old towels are the best thing, far more difficult to destroy. It's the bane of my life tbh! I'd love them to have cosy comfy beds but two of them are just shredders.

Old towels or fleece blankets. I don't have the money to spend on destructive dogs.
When a dog of mine eats a bed, it doesn't have one and none of mine have ever had pressure sores etc.
My current dog stopped eviscerating things when he was about three lol.

I have the beds with duvets in them, but only cause my dogs dont destroy. Id go to a charity shop and get a load of towels or dressing gowns or similar. A bit of vet bed in the bottom to make it more cosy and bobs your uncle.

I wish! We love her Unfortunately though we can't afford to put her in to day care everyday when I'm back at work (currently on school holidays, hence she's here) so she'll be better off in an active home where there's someone around the majority of the time. Bloody 60 year old woman thinking a lab x German pointer will have the same brain as a straight lab lol
