In need of some clippers to full clip my mare throughout the winter as she is in medium/hard work but only have about £100. Can anyone recommend me some of a cheaper make that are good?
I got mine second hand on eBay. They are Lister and about 20 years old so kind of heavy and noisy but they do the job just fine and were built to last, clearly. I paid £73 including P&P which considering I have had four clips out of them plus done a few of my friends' horses, even if they were to pack up now (which looks unlikely) they have more than paid for themselves.
