Cheap Dubarry Clares - Durham - PSA!

If anyone is in the vicinity of Durham, I was there yesterday and found a rather strange shoe shop in the indoor market (off the market place, near to WH Smiths) that sold strange, expensive looking ladies' leather sandals, mens' expensive looking brogues and somewhat bizarrely, the whole range of Dubarrys!

Anyway, they had a pair of older (zip half way up back) black Dubarry Clares in a 38/5 (too small - damn!) and pair of the light brown Clares in a 42/8 (too big for me - damn!), both marked down to £199.......think they are usually £325, at least I think that's what mine cost me a while back

Thought I would make a public service anouncement to let you all know! If anyone gets a relatively bargainous pair, you owe me cookies!

I'm in durham.... and I'm a 5! how do the clares fit around the calf?

ummm, they are not too tight, just kind of normal......sorry not much help!

All I know is my Clares were super comfy from start, where as Ariat Bromonts were tight. I don't use Clares to ride in, just as a nice winter boot.
