Cheap flexi stirrups

I would LOVE some of those Sprenger flexi stirrups but not feeling too flush at the moment so can anyone recommend a cheaper version that still do the job AND are they as good as safety stirrups as I am about to back my youngster and my worst fear is being dragged.

I bought mine from frogpool - from memory they were about £25 and are still going after 3 years (i think) . I have fallen off a few times and never got caught or stuck in them but they aren't true safety stirrups.

I tried a cheaper version after riding my friends horse in her Sprenger ones - the cheap ones were exactly that! They were nowhere near as good in quality or comfotable, infact they made my ankles hurt so much I went back to my original bent leg safety irons and sold the them on eBay!!

Maybe it was just me as I know other people use the cheaper ones - just don't expect them to be the same that's all.

Mine snapped whilst I was riding my bouncy warmblood that I had just backed!!!!
Have sprengers now!
