Cheap Horse Transport from Lancashire - Devon???

Just thought i better get looking at how to get ging down to Rockley Farm! Just wondering if anyone knows any good (cheap) transporters or anyone thats planning on doing a trip there and we could share??

Absolutely 1st class lorries, staff are great, and you can go as part of a shared load which will lower the cost.

When I had to do the same I used these sites to get quotes then checked out the people who quoted.
Prices ranged from £200 to £500 for the same journey. If you're lucky and can be a little flexible about days then they match up a few requests and combine journeys and can give you a good price.

The cheapest way is hire a small box for £100 a day and drive it yourself, sleeping overnight in the box (you need heating in this weather!).
At most it is two days hire plus diesel.
Other way is look on the site called findhorsetransport.com for a space.
