cheap horses

If you see a cheap horse (not an unbacked baby) that seems too good to be true- is it? Or is it just a reflection of the current market? Do you take a punt on something that seems too good to be true- 7 year olf 17h ID, backed but fairly green, for £1.2k- would you think there was soemthing wrong with it?

I would take a punt and go and see it, but would defo get it vetted if you liked it enough to buy.

If I was looking for such a thing and it wasn't too far away, I'd certainly go and look at it, with my eyes (and ears) wide open. It could just be the market and the fact that big horses are very expensive to keep.

The prices always seem to go down at this time of the year. I'd take a look.
