Don't wana spend a bomb on a pelham for ponio, but want to try one for WHP classes.
local tack store want £35!

a lot of tack shops hire them to try them out, perhaps you could try that and see how you get on with it.

I've used one before on her & found i can only use it in the ring otherwise she starts backing off her fences :/
Hence not wanting to pay loads!

i would go and look at the second hand part in tack shops i found a basically new cottage craft 1 (still had writing on mouthpiece) for £15 worth a try
