cheap stable plaques?

Been googling for past hour and nothing really come up.
Only want a simple one, just his name, Don't want to pay more than £20.
Any websites or ideas?

You could go to halfords and get a license plate made up in his name

If you search for "stable plates" on ebay.co.uk there come up a bunch below £20. Otherwise shops who do number plates for cars.

your friendly neighbourhood hardware shop will probably have a display of name plates outside their premises . . . . . . . I've had a few made up over the years - engraved brass and carved wood

Make your own... You only need a shaped piece of wood, some paint with a stensil kit and brush. If you don't want to paint you can spray and do a good job.

If your really on a budget you can search freecycle for the items you need. Someone will have bits going here and there.

Ebay have cheap wooden letters cost £3-4 if you want a raised look...

I usually use the plain car park sign for the template, di-bond aluminium 30cm x 10cm is £5.

Turns out that the cheapest name plate was bought by her Mum (me)
Lovely name plate cost under £20 with p&p.

Have a mooch through eBay I got an unusual one made of driftwood with the name lasered into it for less than £10.
