Cheap Stables???

Hi all,

I have just purchased a house with land and I am after a min of 3 stables (the cheaper the better as I am working to a budget of practically nil!!)

I am flexible and don't mind if they are internal or external as they can either go under a cover that is already there (in which case I would only need the front and the two sides - not the back and the roof) or what is already there can be pulled down and external stables put up... I am after the cheaper option !!

Does anyone know of any sites/second hand/or have any genius ideas ??

I don't know about 2nd hand buildings but just saw an ad in a free magazine with new stables at musch cheaper rates than a lot I have seen. Have a look at www.field-shelters.co.uk

A freind of mine has a barn which she has used telegraph poles to section into stables, it seems to work well, although you may need somthin underneath if you have littlies, she uses boarded gates at the front for doors.

You are right, that is not a bad price !!!!!!!! £860 each ! self assembley though LOL !

I am weighing up the making good what we have option. It was an old cow shed, the roof is good but it would require putting on sides, partions, fronts and door s!!!! I don't know what would be cheaper .. by the time I've paid someone to actually do it as well
