Cheap Water toys?!

My dog is a water baby and loves retreiving toys from the river however tennis balls are not suitable as they are too light and get washed away, sticks are alright but in brown murkey water not ideal either.

Anyone have any ideas?

Nothing too expensive as im sure it will need replacing.

I think some of the Kong toys are floatable....you can get them in Pets at Home or Jollyes.
Could you try a gundog dummy?

whats a gundog dummy?

The kong toys are around £5-8 which is fine if he wasnt so dappy but i can see him loosing it within a few days.

If he is prone to losing them, try tying it to a long line (old lunge, washing line, whatever) and then if he doesn't bring it back, you can!

i have exactly the same problem!!!
I cant find any toys which are cheap enough so that when he loses them it doesnt make me want to go swimming to retrieve them myself! lol
