When the horses changed turnout from out at night to stabled at night at the start of winter, Fin began acting a wee bit girthy. I put him on Ekygard, after reading some threads here, and within a week, the girthiness went away. He's been on Ekygard all winter and he's quite cheery. But man, that sh1t's expensive. And summer turnout schedule is some months away.

My tub is getting low, and I was wondering if there's something like which is a bit friendlier towards my bank account but which will achieve the same thing. Any recommendations?

I've just looked at the ingredients and the only things I can see that would be of any benefit is aloe vera and magnesium.

I feed aloe vera juice and get 2 litres for under £20 on amazon and magnesium is really cheap to buy on its own.

Aloe Vera, clinically proven to heal ulcers, cheap as chips 5l for £35 on ebay. Feed 100ml a day until the girthiness goes, then 50ml.
