I am going to try coligone on my bloated horse. Vet has seen him. No issue, never colicky, but quite a sensitive tummy - scours with any change in forage and always a bit bloated, some days more than others. Tried protexin, charcoal, fennel and yea sacc with no change.

now do I try liquid or powere? And where is the cheapest place to get it from as it is quite pricey?

Do you want it for long term use? I have my lad permanently on Coligone in the powder form as I think it works out a bit cheaper (approx £50 per tub which last around 2-3 months). Never used the liquid but I'm sure my friend mentioned it was a bit dearer...

If you message Katie on the Coligone FB page she'll be able to give you more info.

Nope, not better, both are effective just for different things so it really depends on what you want it for? The liquid is usually used for stressful situations i.e. you would give before travelling or competition and the powder is more for regular use to settle the hind gut (really good for condition and calming). Although I know of people who regularly use the liquid. Katie is very approachable and someone asked a similar question on her FB page the other day so you might find what suits your horse best in the answers given there.

I would go with the Powder. I was using it on my mare as a daily supplement, and she was having about 50g a day or there abouts. I think if you want to do a daily supplement, then do a loading period of a couple weeks at full dosage then drop it down after that. At 50g a day, tub last ages :)

Do they actually reply to you on the FB page? I've found it impossible to get hold of them by any other means when I badly wanted to ask a couple of questions a few months ago. Messages were ignored even when I said that I urgently needed a reply. Fantastic product, if you can get hold of it, but unbelievably bad customer service in my recent experience.
