Ive been using a robinsons cheapy bridle for a couple of weeks now and I hate it!

Im a bit skint, but really want a nice English leather bridle.

Must be havana/brown, cob size, with a flash. Preferably stuuben or sabre - to go on an arab, so not too chunky!

Not much on ebay at the mo, and I always get outbid at the last minute when something does come up!

Are any tack shops having any good sales? Or cheap online places that dont cost a fortune for p+p?

Or does anyone just have one in good condition they want to sell (pm me if so?!)

Frogpool manor have got a really nice GFS flash bridle with crank nose band - but it is piped in gold. It was £39.99 I couldn't believe quality for price I was well impressed by it.

Well I bought a Hydrophane one for my other cob, just for a cheapy seen as he loved rubbing his head/nose up the breeze block walls! so I though I'm not spending £80 on a half decent English bridle, anyway it turned to be a dam good bridle, 2 years old and its still going strong, regularly cleaned and its comes up like new an softened nicely with Carr Day & Martin Leather Cleaner & the Conditioner that comes as sprays.
Hunted/XC'd and used it for showing even....great little cheap bridle and its was only about 25 squid!

Having said that be warned because I bought another new cheapy bridle for my youngster (sorry can't remember the make but it wasn't Hydrophone nor was it Kincade who also do cheap bridles) but some other make and the first night I cleaned it and bent the padded noseband to soften it the leather that stretched across the noseband split! ...just the surfice leather though......pay for what you get i suppose.
