What is better value for money? The Dublin tall river boot or the Dubarry boot?

And has anyone bought either of these cheaper than the RRP???

I need some boots that will look equally as good with jeans for shopping etc, and be comfy enough for the yard, but that will withstand mud, water, mucking out etc...

I saw some of the Dublin (dubbary look alike) boots in country wide the other day and quite fancied a pair!! They look just like the Dubarry boot but a lot cheaper, think they were £99, still alot of money but look smart.

I bought Dubarry's off ebay (2nd Pair

) Brand new for £180 instead of £225 .....
A livery has a pair of Dublin ones and I can' t say i'm a fan , I found the foot very chunky ..

I have a pair of dublin boots i really like them there ever so comfortable although the stitching at the back has now come un done but i've worn them everyday since i got them in november so i think they weren't a bad buy i wouldn't buy dubarrys as i've never seen a mucky pair yet its shame as everyone has a pair really so i now find both types quite unattractive when you see everyone with a pair on lol.
