Can anyone advise on the cheapest rubber matting for stabling? (and if its half decent?) Am hoping to build stables on a budget but dont think I can live without rubber matting as it saves so much money and time on mucking out!

I've seen cow rubber matting (which looks cheaper) - does anyone know if this would be usable for horses and where would be best to get it?

Don't know how cheap you want to go, but I used conveyor belt rubber from a mine for one stable and it was surprisingly good. Not quite as good as my equestrian matting, but certainly worked well enough. Didn't slip and was very strong.
Got mine free from a disused mine, but this is a link to used conveyor belting. Other people have used belting from quarries. http://www.rubbermattinguk.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=70_78
