Well, My horse damaged her first check ligament 18 months ago and had it removed and was coming back in to work, then last year she damaged the check ligament in her other front leg, and has surgury on that just before christmas. her recovery was going so well, then we suffered a set back - she came in from the feild with her leg hot and swollen, although she was sound. we have had a few scares with her leg since then but the vet said it was to be expected. Then today i got her in from the feild and she was unsound and her leg was hot and swollen. I very worried about her and will be phoning the vet in the morning if its not anybetter.
