Checking saddle serial numbers

Hi,

Does anybody know if its possible to check the serial number on a saddle? I recently sold a high withered throrowgood and the lady is arguiing that it is not the high wither version. I am sure it is as I brought it brand new but the problem is proving that. Hoping I have the original receipt somewhere as I brought it brand new.

Ring the manufactor or the saddler who you got it from, sure they will have a record as it under warranty?
