Without wanting togo into too many details woman on our yard has a totally unsuitable horse. She now wants to ride mine (who is very safe) so she can learn!I let her have one ride because she rode another one and had a nasty ride and a bad fright. Not a bad horse, just not suitable for a novice.I wouldn't mind if she would see some sense but she won't and says she can't afford to keep 2.I couldn't either which is why I had to sell one that I did love to buy something else more suitable.I have narrowed it down to once a week for half an hour under supervision.Should say no but too soft.

It can be a real pain when you have a genuine schoolmaster/mistress - everyone wants to have a go. You need to learn to say no! Otherwise you'll never get the chance to ride. The people on my yard are fine but I can't tell you how many parents at my daughters school seem to think I should teach them and their children for free and give them free rides

. I might do if they started paying her livery!
