Has anyone had any?? I got one yesterday that made me smile - I have advertised one of my broodies for loan (work committments means I have no time ATM). She is a good mare, numerous county wins, and has produced three foals that have all won at county shows. Anyway, I had someone phone me, wanting her on loan, but could I pay all the bills (as I put in my ad it was just a time issue that meant she was being loaned out). They wanted me to foot the bills for everything (livery, feet, feed, vet etc) but for they would pay to put her in foal (I'd have to pay any vet fees of course) and they would then keep the foal when it was born and return the mare back to me...

Anyone else had responses as cringe-worthy as this?

Years ago we were selling a good little jumping pony aged about 12/13 and were approached by a family making out they were doing us a favour by taking him off our hands at about 20% of his (already quite reasonable) advertised price....beacuse of his age!!!

i had one when i advertised for someone to come and school my pony because he was being a plank and i couldnt deal with it, the guy sent me an email saying he would take my problem pony off my hands for free, fix it and sell it on! so i politely told him that wasnt what i was looking for

i think some people think if they dont ask they dont get . i remember selling 1 years ago and a call my dad took was so funny. a man rang and said he was ringing on behalf of brenda
