Has anyone used these with bent irons?

Was going to order a pair but

a. not sure if they will fit

and....

b. Not sure if they will affect comfort as opposed to standard rubber ones

Thanks :)

Have not tried them myself, but a showjumping friend of mine uses them. She likes them but says they ruin the soles of her boots.

I've used them a few times and found them really good for grip but I can understand them ruining boots :/ I prefer simple plain metal and rubber if I'm honest :)

I have them on both my saddles and absolutely love them... Hate riding in any others now. Haven't noticed them ruining any of my boots either... Shouldn't think your feet would move enough for them to have that effect?

I have the Royal Rider cheesegrater stirrups and they were fine with my boots however did notice that you had to be carefully running up the stirrups as you could scratch the leathers

I have cheese grater treads and have done for a few years, they haven't destroyed my boots at all. The only issue is that they're a bit rattly in the stirrups so I have them held down with electrical tape! Don't think I could ride without them now!
