Cheltenham livery!

Hi,

I was wondering whether anyone can help me as i have no idea where to start!! I have recently moved from Cornwall to Cheltenham and am looking to get my own horse again! I have tried using riding stables but when you have always had your own horses its not quite the same and miss the freedom of owning your own!!! Does anyone know of any livery yards or stabling in Cheltenham. I am looking to get a 14.2- 15hh who would be stabled at night in winter. The facilities do not have to be great all i am after is a field and a stable!!

Can anyone help me in the right direction??

There are plenty of DIY yards around this area. There is Church Farm in Shurdington, very nice yard, lovely people and has a nice outdoor floodlit school. There is also Yew tree farm in shurdington, also has an outdoor school. There are a couple of yards in Witcombe which is closer to Gloucester, but still not far from Chelt, depending on which side you live. Whereabouts in Chelt are you based?

Hi Charliechalk thanks so much for getting back to me! I live in Charlton Kings, i like the sound of church farm, how much roughly should i expect to pay for a diy livery in Cheltenham? I have always had my own land so i have no idea what would be a reasonable rate to work around? I will give Church Farm a call.
