Chepstow intermediate?

Is chepstow a good 1st timers intermediate? Wats the SJ and xc like, is it similer to the cci 1star course?

Daughts says it is - although Stockton Lovell is technically an easier course (god i hope I have the venue right - my memory is starting to lapse!!!) Chepstow was rebuilt last year - sorry - I can't say whats its like now but its got to be an improvement on 2 years ago. Dressage test looks ummmm simpler - on paper!

Have never been but had planned to go last year as first intermediate until it got cancelled. I had been told by my trainer that it was a good first intermediate.

Did it in 2004, was dead easy, not big, not technical, couple of fallers at the water as there was a hole, but that will prob have been fixed.

The dressage is absolutly miles away from anything - they wouldn't even know they were at an event hardly.
