Im planning on doing this event in may and have always wanted to do a 3 day. I have one question though if any one can help! - does the xc course have any jumps with roofs??? - strange question i know but my horse HATES jumps with roofs LOL! and it would seem a bit of a waste entering and puting loads of effort in if theres one of those jumps and at the age of nearly 14 dont think will change her now!

This is not sounding good! looks like i will either have to give up on the idea or put some serious practice in.
 
hi there i did the pn be ode last year @ chepstow and didnt jump any 'roof' kind of fences, only the last fence was a tight horse shoe!! Was a fab course n going was supa, they look after their gound. Was the biggest pn course i have jumped, but one of the best. They do change the courses tho only can say what was like last year.
 
You could always do the Milton Keynes unaffiliated 3 day. They have an open course which is a mix of pre novice and novice fences. Ive done it 4 times and its excellent fun. They have never had a fence with a roof in the times I have been.

that was the first fence, so if you mean a house type jump with a roof on it (as opposed to an owl hole!) then thats it!
 
Thanks that doesnt look to bad! its only when there really low she hates them! gotta get preparing now...... and get the horse fit being only able to ride 2 a week and 3 times when it gets lighter.....
