hi i have recently brought a chesnut mare and i cant decide what colour to put her in ie number head collar etc any suggestions please?xxxx

for a bright chestnut you can't beat bright red (in my opinion) but I use white on my liver chestnut.....looks great!

If I got into XC, I think emerald green....

i had a chestnut and tried many colours...some did look good but <font color="green"> </font> green <font color="green"> </font> was the best by a long shot

I can't find many colours that match my bright chestnut mare. We've been through green and burgundy and are now on brown/caramel colours.

I've just bought a liver chestnut mare and got burgundy for her just now but that might change

Dark green looks lovely on my very orange boy! But brown and black are nice too. I had red boots for him - not a good look!!

Almost any shade of green or blue looks good on chestnuts, I think, but royal blue is particularly nice!
