Hello, I am just looking for information on livery yards in the Chester-le-Street area. Preferably DIY or part livery. The yard must have an arena as I will be buying a youngster. Thanks in advance

I know of a yard in Lanchester which is about 10 miles away, so maybe too far?

Yeah too far unfortunately, I am looking for ch-le-st and can go up towards beamish or in the other direction towards sunderland. I do drive but I'd prefer somewhere reasonably close to home. Thanks though

What about tribbly farm (behind moorings pub) or twizel? theres also southburn stud, and pelton house farm.

I dont as I've never been on any of them, but I have friends there. I don;t think they are particulalry flashy yards but nice people from what I have heard.

Theres a BEAUTIFUL yard called Molehill Farm, thats on the main road form sunniside to stanley - approx 10 mins from Ch-le-St.

Molehill also backs onto beamish so beautiful hacking.

A fb friend has horses at twizell and really likes it there, there's a cross country course. Sorry don't have contact details. If you go onto the the North east forum on here someone was asking about yards at Chester-le-Street. very tempted to move over Beamish way myself!

Twizell rarely has space but its worth putting your name down- everywhere is jammed at the moment with Lambton closing down! Try south Tyneside riders on FB too
