Seeking Tara a Chestnut Arab X Mare, she was around 14 hands.
Bit of a long shot, but I wondered if anyone has, have had or knows where Tara is now, her name may of changed. She will be in her 20's by now.
I had a her for 2 years going back around 9 years ago perhaps now, she will of circulated around the Yorkshire area and was bought from Holmefirth Horse Sales, unknown to us at the time that this mare was actually vicious and dangerous.
She was ok once you were actually holding her or riding her, or she on on a lead rope, I rode her daily and took her to shows but if loose in the field and approached would attack you (charge at you, baring teeth and spin and kick you) also would launch herself at you over the stable door.
I think this mare had in the past perhaps been badly treated, I carefully owned and managed her for 2 years but she had to be kept stabled, daytime turn out in a large drive, as we could not risk putting her in field again.
Anyway she had a star on her face, white socks at the back, a large and very obvious old scar (gash) no dark scaring just a gap from the muscle on her bottom, think it was to the right of her tail, must of been a bad injury at the time when it happened.
She did not like caravans, lorries and used to turn her bum in the road, and used to pull to walk on the right hand side of the road rather than the left.
From this description you will know if you have her or once owned her. I would like to know if she is ok, she was exchanged for another due to change in circumstances and therefore could not keep her stabled.
Any info would be much appreciated.
