.....has anybody used them.
I picked up a sample at bakewell show and left my details and they have phoned me asking if I want to place an order.
For those that dont know them, they sell a variety of feeds mainly I think complete mixes that seem to be mainly chop based and claim you dont need anything else or any supplements.
They deliver either by the bag or you can order a bin full(equivalent to 5 bags) they drop of the bin filled with your choice of food and when you run out they just come and swap the bins. They have a min order but told me other peole in my area order so I wont need to make order up myself which is a good job as I think it could take my 2 welshies quite a while to get through 200.00 worth of feed.
Anyway sorry for rambling cup of tea and choccie brownies all round.
Was just wondering if anyone uses this feed and what they think as its hard to tell from one small sample.

they recommended feeding my friend with a laminitic on a mix full of barley and oats?! jsut from that I wouldn't touch them.

Yes I have been using chestnut horse feeds for my 3 very different horses for a year now & I have to say it is the best thing I ever did. I have a laminitic who I have had loads of problem with as he is an old boy so doesn't keep his weight too well in the winter & I have to say I am not too hot up on feeding for this condition & the staff I spoke to were really helpful & supportive & stressed to me to not feed any cereals.
I have looked into the bulk bins which seem great but all my 3 are so different they are all on different feeds so I stick to the bags. I can't comment on any of there range that I haven't used but I use Chestnut Lite, Alpha Plus & Hi Fi coarse mix & all of these are really nice feeds & mine all love it. Sorry to ramble but can't recommend it enough.
