This is a bit embarrassing but..
weve just bought a cheval liberte 4003 second hand tariler, and we have no idea how the tethering rail works! it sort of unpins and then swings down but theres nothing keeping it up. were obviously not doing something right so anybody shed any light!?!?

Cant answer your question sorry but was looking at one of these on Ebay recently but wondered just how wide they were. The seller gave dimensions but I just imagined it being a bit wider than a normal trailer and that the horse wouldnt really stand herringbone but on an angle pretty much like being in a IW510 without the partition??? Have you had your horse in it yet? How did you go on?

its probably the same trailer as we bought it off ebay tuesday i think! its prbably the same one (cumbria?). havent tried it yet as my sister had stolen my pony for uni + hunting. the partitions are definitely herringbone and are quite big (said pony only goes sideways on the back of lorries so hope he will be okay!) they are really quite wide, about a foot wider than our discovery either side

Yes its the same one. You got a bargain, I was really tempted as my horse will only travel sidewards in a lorry but at 16.2 and a 6' 6 or 6' 9 rug I thought he may struggle standing sidewards properly and I'd end up with the same problems I had with a normal trailer.
Good luck, I hope hes ok in it, keep us posted.

hehe we travelled all the way to cumbria from chessington in surrey. when we got the tariler we drove for about 10 minutes so we could cross the scottish border and then drove the 7 hours back again! it was worth the journey tho because it was a bargain!
