Does anyone have any experience of the Cheval Liberte trailers, or own one?

If so, what are your opinions please? How are they to tow, are they fairly well built etc? And does your horse like it?

Thanx :)

I've got the 1000xl for the last two years very light and airy, tows well and my horse loves gawping out the windows on the road - think for their price they are unbeatable - mine still looks like new and its been used regular.

Friend of mine has one and although very light to tow, they advise it would never hold 2 16hh horses. 1 horse and 1 small pony tops. PM me if you're interested in the Bateson Deauville which is also very light and easy to tow but happily holds 2 x 17hh horses.

I have the gold, or gold xl whichever its called, had the 2003 but some lovely person stole it.

I love it, wouldn't have any other, it tows brilliantly, doesn't bounce or roll anything like asmuch as others we've towed. Its very light and airy inside. I think the 2003 wouldve easily taken 2 16hhs.

PM me if you want more details

the 2003 are designed to take 2 17.2hh's they have more head room than a 510/511. i love mine and my boy who won't load normally goes in within 10 mins.
